MA, RPsych ( #2092: AB) – Registered Psychologist
Hello, and welcome to my website. I am a registered psychologist in Alberta and in private practice since 1993. I work with clients 17 years of age and older, focussing on the following issues: depression, anxiety, loss/grief, separation and divorce, life transitions, stress management, interpersonal communication, and parenting through the lifespan. Additionally, I have been an adjunct professor in the Master of Counselling Program with Gonzaga University since 1997.
I believe that my clients have the answers to the questions that they bring to counselling inside of them, and it is my role to facilitate the expression of those answers. I work with clients in a goal-directed manner, always keeping our focus on achievement of goals and change.
I work primarily with CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Narrative Therapy and Mindfulness.
I value my professional connections with the College of Alberta Psychologists, the Psychologists Association of Alberta and the Canadian Psychological Association.
I have 2 adult children and 5 grandchildren. I enjoy family time, time with friends and colleagues, time alone, and time with my dog.
