Yes, the information that you share with your psychologist is held in strict confidence. However, a psychologist is required to break confidentiality if a client expresses imminent intention to commit suicide, assault, homicide or child abuse, in order to attempt to prevent these acts.
No, it does not. However if you have healthcare coverage through a work plan, then it is likely that these plans will cover all or part of my fee. Check your insurance companys’ Benefits site online.

Therapy and counselling are collaborative processes where you work together with your psychologist. I will work initially to understand the issues that you bring to counselling, giving you the opportunity to tell your story in your own way. We will then identify goals for the counselling process, and steps towards achieving your goals. Creating change can be a difficult process, and some issues take more time and work than others. I am present to support you with the change process.
